Little Tree Staff Bios

Teri Tipton, Founding Director, Administrator and Teacher
Teri received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, San Diego, and Montessori training from the Montessori College for Early Education, now Montessori Center for Teacher Education - MCTE. MCTE is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS) and accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Commission for Teacher Education (MACTE). Little Tree emerged from Teri’s desire for her own child to attend a Montessori school. In her free time she can be found writing children's poetry, early readers, and multicultural picture books, searching for a publisher, or trying to learn what bird is making that exquisitely cheerful song.
